Is the menu exclusively fondue focused?

Yes. Taureau is centered on fondue service with cheese, entree, and chocolate courses.

Are you open on holidays?

Yes. We are open 365 days a year, including all holidays. On rare occasions, such as severe weather events, we may close; any such closures will be announced on Instagram and Google Maps.

Is Taureau wheelchair-accessible?

Yes. Taureau is fully wheelchair-accessible.

Is there outdoor seating?

No. Taureau does not offer outdoor seating.

How do I get to Taureau?

Taureau is directly adjacent to La Sirène SoHo, immediately to the east. It is within a five-minute walk of the Spring St C/E station, and about seven minutes from the Canal St 1 station or the Canal St A/C/E station.

Does Taureau host group dinners?

Yes. The shared format is naturally suited to group dinners and celebrations.

How far in advance can I reserve?

Reservations open 45 days in advance at 9 a.m., and remain available until one hour before seating. After that, walk-ins are always welcome.

Is there a corkage policy?

We offer BYOB (bring your own bottle) Sunday through Thursday. There is no corkage fee; we only require that you pay the full sum of your bill in cash. There is a max of one 750 ml bottle per two diners, up to three bottles total. This service is not available on Friday, Saturday, or holidays.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is at your discretion for parties of five or fewer. For parties of six or more, a 20% gratuity is applied automatically to the check.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bitcoin, and WeChat Pay / Alipay. We offer a 5% discount for payment in cash and a 10% discount for payment in Bitcoin.
